Forget-Her-Nots

by Amy Brecount White

Summary: At a Charlottesville, Virginia, boarding school, fourteen-year-old Laurel realizes that she shares her deceased mother's connection with flowers, but as she begins to learn their ancient language and share it with other students, she discovers powers that are beyond her control.

Mrs. Turner's BookTweet: A sweet tale about loss and hope. The intertwining of the story with Laurel's unique ability with flowers is intriguing and made me want to find out what different flowers meant so I could give them to others to express my feelings.
